Soaking Up The Sun

We just got home from swimming in the pool. The kids was so happy that mommy decided to go swimming today. The boy and I have a little argument in the pool and he start crying. He doesn’t want to put his floaters on. I want him to have it on, all the time to keep him safe while he is in the water. But he asked me nicely if we can try to let him swim without the floaters. So I said okay, but if you can’t swim without it, we have to put it back on.

So here we go trying to see if he can swim without it. The first thing I saw was a boy that think that he can swim, but in reality he cannot swim at all. He was like panicking when he was in a little deep water he hang-on on me like crazy. So I said that’s it. You have to put your floaters back, because you can’t swim. Then he start screaming and telling me that I am a mean mommy. What? mean? My goodness me. Well, after a while of his crying he came to me and apologized and we are back enjoying our pool day once again.
