My Malunggay

Here is another Filipino Vegetables Malunggay or moringa. I planted this one last spring and it looks like it is growing really good. I am hoping that by next year it will grow a lot taller and more leaves and branches. I miss this vegetable so much. It is pretty much part of our meal in the Philippines. Thank you to My dear friend Jana in Hawaii for giving me some seeds to grow.

I feel so at home when I’m in my backyard watching my Filipino vegetables.

Filipino Cucumber

I planted a Filipino cucumber and now I started enjoying my salad with a fresh cucumber. This is very different on the cucumber here in the states. The color alone is not the same, the one from the Philippines is green and white the one over here is just plain green. But anyway I’m just glad that I have all this vegetables growing in my backyard.
